Why track just eggs and not all food?+

Because most macro apps make 'I had four eggs' into a five-tap exercise — and most days that's the only thing you actually want to log. One File Egg Tracker is for people whose protein anchor is eggs and who want a one-tap daily ritual rather than a full nutrition database.

How is the protein and calorie data calculated?+

Per-egg averages by size, drawn from standard nutrition references. Large egg ≈ 72 cal, 6.3g protein, 5g fat, 147 mg choline. Style adjustments (e.g. fried adds the cooking fat) are applied where they materially change the numbers. The library is editable so you can fine-tune to the eggs in your fridge.

Where is my data stored?+

Locally, in your browser, on your device. Nothing is sent to OneFileClub or anyone else — there is no account, no cloud sync, no analytics. Use CSV export for backups so you don't lose a streak if you clear browser storage.

Does it work offline?+

Yes. Once your personalised copy loads the first time, the entire tracker — log, stats, calendar, badges — runs from a single HTML file. Airplane mode is fine.

Is this medical or dietary advice?+

No. The 'why eggs' nutrition notes are educational and reference standard public-health information; the cholesterol context box explicitly says 'follow professional advice' for medical concerns. This is a tracker, not a clinician.

Will it work for my goal — weight loss, muscle gain, carnivore?+

It tracks eggs, not goals. Set your daily egg goal (e.g. 3 / 4 / 6) to suit your protein target, and it will track adherence to that. People use it for high-protein breakfasts, carnivore-leaning weeks, post-workout meal prep, and 'just curious how many eggs I really eat'.

Can I sync between phone and laptop?+

Not automatically — that's the trade-off for being local-first and account-free. CSV export on one device and import on the other in seconds.

What does 'personalised copy' mean?+
