Will it identify a bird from a photo or song?+
No — that needs ML and cloud. The trade-off is total privacy. Bring the species name; the tracker handles the rest.
Can I export to eBird if I want?+
Not directly — but the JSON export is yours, and the columns map cleanly to the standard taxon list. You can import to whichever platform you choose, later.
Where is my data stored?+
Locally, in your browser, on your device. Nothing is sent to OneFileClub or anyone else — there is no account, no cloud sync, no analytics.
Does it work offline?+
Yes. Once your personalised copy loads the first time, the entire tracker runs from a single HTML file. Airplane mode is fine.
What does 'personalised copy' mean?+
